Hi, my name is Terry Findlay. I am a shareware programmer working exclusively in REALbasic. I have been programming with REALbasic for about 8 years. As a retired educator I have a strong interest in helping beginning programmers find success as quickly and easily as possible. When I first came across REALbasic I found it all a bit daunting. This website is my attempt to provide the groundwork necessary to succeed in REALbasic programming. I have always learned best from looking at working examples. With that in mind I have included lots of examples of working projects for beginners to paw through and, hopefully, to see what makes them tick. Since retiring from teaching I spend much of my time working on my shareware projects, creating websites for a variety of businesses and organizations, and playing with my dog, Shelby. I also participate in a number of community organizations. I live in Keremeos, BC with my wife, 4 cats, and a dog. Keremeos is located in the South Okanagan/Similkameen region of British Columbia, Canada. |
